The men’s soccer team completely retooled before the 2012 season and put forth a starting lineup heavily relying on freshmen who spent the year adjusting to collegiate soccer. However, the Sharks won six times and collected five clean sheets. The Sharks’ biggest win came against eventual NCAA National Champions No. 1 Lynn at home, 1-0. NSU was the only SSC team to defeat Lynn in conference play in 2012.
